Capt. Coy Witherspoon's Guide Service

Capt. Coy's Guide Service History

A native of Anahuac, Texas, Capt. Coy Witherspoon grew up fishing the coastal waterways of the Galveston Bay Complex. As the youngest son in a family of sportsmen, he developed a love and appreciation of the outdoors at an early age.

"Daddy would haul me to the boat ramp and turn me loose in his boat when I was about 13, then come get me that evening," Capt. Coy said.

Now 24 years later, he enjoys sharing his knowledge of the area with others. He is an ideal fishing guide, whether you are an experienced fisherman seeking trophy trout or a novice fisherman seeking a relaxing day on the water. Either way, you will enjoy his hospitality, sense of humor and great personality.

Coy is licensed by the United States Coast Guard. Whether wade or drift fishing, he specializes in artifical bait, but also can accommodate the live-bait fisherman.

His boat is a 25' Magnum Haynie. You will find it to be a comfortable and dry ride. Those of all ages and experience levels are welcome.
